A great idea from Dawn inspired us to make Get Well/Christmas Cards for recovering soldiers in hospitals all over the country. The Red Cross distributed the cards for us. We had a huge craftin' party! This was one of our best turnouts yet. We had 14 kids plus parents there! The kids and grown ups helping had a good time. This activity made the biggest impact on Micaela who months later still asks out of the blue if the soldiers are getting better. We also had a yummy cookie exchange!
