This month we wanted to make the holidays a little brighter for some children by participating in Hope for the Holidays. We met for lunch at Wheat State Pizza, which has become a new favorite place to eat, and then we headed to Wal-Mart to do some toy shopping. The kids all picked out something to give away and they all seemed to enjoy buying for other kids. No one was sad about not getting something for themselves which was awesome and a relief! They seemed to get our mission and felt good about using some of their own money for the purpose. We dropped off the toys to police officers and firefighters in front of the store, which was also fun!
