The Bailey Family
About us...
We have been living in the Kansas City area for 13 years. Lee works in IT at Sprint and I stay busy being a stay-at-home mom looking after our four children. In his spare time, Lee enjoys gaming with friends, hunting, and working on house projects. I enjoy reading, watching movies, going out to eat, and traveling. Ethan, who is in third grade, enjoys anything that has to do with Star Wars, playing video games, reading and hanging out with friends. Katie, who is in second grade, enjoys gymnastics, dance, basketball, softball and piano. Our wild child, Jack, is four years old. He loves Spiderman, playing outside, and going to the park with Papa Larry. Finally, the baby of the family, Henry, is two and keeps busy going along to all of his sibling's activities and tries to catch a nap when he can.
We chose the Ronald McDonald House as our charity for the month of December because they provide a "home away from home" for families that must travel to Kansas City for their child's medical care. We can't imagine the stress these families are under trying to care for their children with a medical illness and being far away from home. We have been collecting pop tabs throughout the year to deliver to the Ronald McDonald House. Last year, they collected approximately 49,000 pounds of pop tabs, raising over $19,600 to help these families. We are also asking that you take a peek at their wish list to see if you could donate a few items such as breakfast cereal, sugar, coffee creamer and batteries. In order to provide a loving, caring and supportive environment, Ronald McDonald House Charities relies on the generous donations from our community.

Our family feels very blessed to have met so many kind and giving families through Families with a Purpose. We hope to see you at this month's event and wish you a Merry Christmas!
