Thanks to the Downes family for coordinating our activity this month. We made bags (thanks to our sewers: Dawn, Christa and Vicki) and collected pajamas and books to put in them. These will be given to kids in the emergency foster care program at TLC for Children and Families. We collected a total of 31 bags. Wow! The kids enjoyed our pajama party at the park and we all enjoyed Dawn's homemade cookies and milk! A special thanks goes out to Peggy Fread, Megan's mom, who made and donated several bags as well.
